Delusional Parasitosis (Ekbom Syndrome) → fixed, false belief (delusion) that they are infested by 'bugs’.
Cotard’s Delusion → fixed, false belief that their body or body part is dead or dying. Occurs with severe depression or psychosis.
Capgras Delusion → believes that a friend or family member has been replaced by an identical imposter. Occurs in schizophrenia (may also occur in organic diseases such as brain injury and dementia).
De Clerambault's Syndrome (Erotomania) → delusion that a famous person is in love with them, with the absence of other psychotic symptoms.
Fregoli Delusion → patient believes that everyone they meet is the same person but with different disguises.
Othello Syndrome → delusional belief that their partner is cheating on them, despite no proof.
Peresecutory → being hunted by the FBI.
Passivity/Control → someone else is controlling you.
Grandiose → believes they are of great importance.
Reference → thinks they are receiving messages in the dialogue of a TV show.
Somatic → delusion related to the body and functions rather than the mind.
